In other news...

The month of June was very exciting for Cynthia and me; we moved into a beautiful house she and I purchased together.  We are super happy and love it.  I apologize, though, that June also kept me so busy that I had almost no time at all to spend doing emails.  I will be going back into my unanswered emails and confirming orders, etc., in the coming week.  Thank you all for your support!!!  Without your patronage, we could never have made it into our new home.

Update

Terms and Conditions page was updated today.

We are about even now with Pig Mines and all other orders.  Unfortunately, all orders are now shipping at about 6 months after the order date.  So I have updated the lead-time estimate on our product pages to reflect this.

Pig Mines Shipping Out

After a long month's delay (I was planning on December deliveries), the Pig Mines that were ordered last July when I first opened the shopping cart and got swamped overnight are finally trickling out to customers.  We're getting them shipped as fast as we can.  Thank you all so much for your patience!!!

Boxes are in!

They turned out great!  I built this one up right away to take a pic.  Will open shopping cart in the next day or so.

Retiring the Top Fuel

(no it's not a joke) I'm just not liking this pedal any more.  I'll come up with something else in this vein soon.

By popular demand, the Screw Driver Deluxe (5 knob) is released

Thank you Chris Camm for coming up with the idea of moving the trim pots up to the top for total control.  This really brings the Screw Driver into a new dimension of versatility.

Skreddy Echo is released

It's been nearly a year in the making.  I'm really happy and excited about sharing it with you.  I truly believe it will help inspire music making.

Retiring the Pink Flesh rather than re-formulating it

It's always been my policy to not continue a pedal line that (in my opinion) depends upon a particular transistor's personality for its signature tone, once their supply has run out.  I was planning on continuing the Pink Flesh after I ran out of its transistors and using modern parts tweaked for the same target application (i.e.; it has to have a certain 70's feel, not a modern feel).

After several rounds of experimentation, I've found that of course I can get plenty of nice Big Muff tones out of any number of different circuit permutations and various types of parts.  But nothing that particularly satisfied my target application, considering the time constraint I'm under to release it.  So I've decided to backpedal on my previous idea and that it is much simpler for me and fairer to all my customers to only have one version of the Pink Flesh out in the wild.  No confusion over versions and dates and parts, just one Pink Flesh pedal.  When it's gone, it's gone, just the same as the Mayo and the ? Lady.

For the time being I'm going to give the Big Muff design a rest and concentrate on getting out orders and finishing up another major project that's been on the back burner for several months.

I've determined that the cache of transistors I've accumulated is adequate for filling all pending orders for the Pink Flesh and Mayo and ? Lady pedals.

Transistor Troubles Lead to Design Improvements, Product Retirements

My supply of transistors that I use for Mayos, Pink Fleshes, and ? Ladys has unexpectedly dried up. The latest batch did not meet my gain requirements, and it doesn't look like there's any more reliable stream of these parts forthcoming.

I'm going to discontinue the Mayo and ? Lady pedals for the time being unless and until I find something else suitable to build them.

Pink Flesh Pedal Continues

I plan to keep going with the Pink Flesh, and I have many ideas and many parts that I am currently working with to finalize the its formulation.  Right now, it is on hold for a short time while I polish and perfect it.
